Plot Summary:
With his family held for ransom, the head security executive for a global bank is commanded to loot his own business for millions in order to ensure his wife and children’s safety. Plot Summary:
The architect Michael Newman has a typical middle-class family with his lovely and gorgeous wife Donna and their son Ben and daughter Samantha, and a constant visit of his parents. However, Michael is workaholic and under stress, trying to satisfy his boss with overwork and get a partnership in his company, giving priority to his work and neglecting the family issues. When the tired Michael goes to a department store to buy an universal remote control, he rests on a bed and he meets the weird salesman Morty that offers him a remote control capable of controlling his own universe. Michael uses too much and loses the control of the device, having his own life controlled by the remote control. Then Michael sees the worthwhile parts of his personal life he missed while working, and in the end of his life he lately concludes that the family comes first.

Plot Summary:
When the unexpected happens, architect Jonathan Rivers has become a grieving widower, wallowing in deep confusion over the death of his wife. But a paranormal expert approaches Jonathan with the unlikely: the ability to hear his wife from beyond the grave. Through a form of unusual communication known as EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon), Jonathan will finally be able to see his wife. But in doing so, Jonathan has drawn himself into a much more complex situation when his curiosity becomes an obsession. Only that obsession will have him confront those not of this world, and some of them don’t approve of Jonathan’s interference with their destructive nature.
Oscar is an architect, he and his partner, Peter are competing with another pair for a restoration job. Charles Newman, the pompous businessman, who will decide who among them will do the job. He insructs them to build a model of their proposals, he will decide then which one will get the job, and they have to pay for it themselves. Now Oscar and Peter are struggling but Peter decides to mortgage his apartment so they can get the job. Now Peter who is gay and after being caught in a “compromising” position with him, Oscar is misbelieved to be gay. Now Charles who has a mistress, Amy. Now she is surround by several male friends, Charles is a little insecure; when he learns that Oscar is gay, he “asks” him to keep an eye on her. Oscar is taken with her but when he learns that they think he is gay, and knowing that it could jeopardize the job allows them to continue thinking that. But things go out of hand when a newspaper reporter outs him. And Oscar who has fallen for Amy and who disapproves of her relationship with Charles, is uncertain of what to do.

Plot Summary:
A former L.A. drug dealer (Thomas Jane) has moved to Houston to make a new life for himself as a married architect. Everything falls apart when he is suddenly visited by one of his former cohorts (Aaron Eckhart) who comes carrying heroin. Discovering the dope, the architect flushes it down the drain. This sets up a series of tough customers seeking the dope including a rasta hitman (Glenn Plummer), an ex-lover (Paulina Porizkova) who ties up and rapes James, a criminal (James LeGros) with a penchant for torture, and a rogue cop (Mickey Rourke). Michael Jeter also appears as a psychologist from an adoption agency where the couple is seeking to adopt a child.
